Description:
Crime Stoppers and HPD Robbery investigators are asking the public’s help in
solving what may be a series of armed robberies in the area surrounding Reliant
Center.
On Friday, August 1, 2008, the victim was standing by his vehicle in the parking
lot of his apartment complex in the 2200 block of Holly Hall, just east of the
Reliant Center complex. Three armed Black males approached him from behind,
and one came around and held him at gunpoint from the front. They demanded
his belongings and then forced him to lie on the ground. They then kicked him in
the side before running away on foot.
The suspects may have been driving around in a 20002004
black or dark blue
Chevy Impala. They were described as 2025yearold
Black males, 5’9” – 5’10”
in height, weighing from 150 to 180 pounds. They may have been involved in
recent similar robberies in the same area.
Surveillance cameras at a nearby store captured the image of a Black male using
the victim’s stolen credit card shortly after the robbery to make purchases.
Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5,000 for information leading to the identification,
